My lessons are delivered online via video call, typically in 45 to 60 minute sessions depending on the child's age and concentration levels. Younger children benefit from shorter, more focused sessions while older primary pupils can sustain longer periods of structured learning.

Each lesson follows a simple structure, we start with a warm up activity to get the child comfortable and talking, move into the main learning focus for that session, and finish with something fun that reinforces what we covered. I always end on a high so the child associates learning English with a positive experience.

In terms of content I cover the full range of primary English skills, phonics and early reading for younger learners, spelling patterns, punctuation and grammar for middle primary, and reading comprehension and creative writing for older pupils. I adapt the difficulty and pace based on how the child is progressing week to week.

I use a variety of resources including interactive worksheets, digital flashcards, storytelling prompts, and age appropriate texts to keep lessons varied and stimulating. No two lessons look exactly the same because no two children learn in exactly the same way.

In terms of experience I have worked in fast paced customer facing environments that require clear communication, patience, and the ability to adapt quickly to different people and situations — skills that translate directly into effective tutoring. I am a native English speaker with strong written and verbal communication skills and a genuine passion for helping young people build confidence in themselves and their abilities.
