My lessons are structured, interactive, and focused on helping students understand how to approach the Digital SAT rather than simply memorise answers or rules.

I typically begin by identifying what the student already understands and where they are struggling. From there, I introduce the strategy or concept we are working on, explain the reasoning behind it, and then move into guided practice. I pay close attention to how the student approaches each question, not just whether they get it right. When they make a mistake, we look at their reasoning together so we can identify the actual issue and prevent the same mistake from happening again.

For Digital SAT Reading and Writing, my lessons cover question-solving strategies, vocabulary in context, inference, transitions, command of evidence, grammar, punctuation, and other areas of the test. I also use targeted practice to reinforce specific weaknesses rather than giving students random questions without a purpose.

The dynamics of my lessons are conversational and collaborative. I encourage students to explain their thinking, ask questions, challenge an explanation if something does not make sense, and actively participate rather than simply listen. At the same time, I adapt the pace and level of support depending on the student.

I have experience teaching both one-on-one and group SAT classes. Alongside tutoring, I develop SAT curriculum and assignments, track student progress, support new class launches, and lead a team of verbal tutors. This gives me experience not only teaching the SAT, but also building a structured learning experience around it.
