My lessons are structured to emphasise key content in a clear, manageable way, ensuring students are not overwhelmed while essential material is thoroughly addressed. I prioritise interactive teaching by regularly assessing students’ understanding, which enables me to address misconceptions promptly. When appropriate, I incorporate videos or supplementary resources to reinforce learning, though my primary focus remains on applying knowledge through exam-style questions. I model answers and guide students step by step, demonstrating effective approaches to achieve full marks. Progress is measured through ongoing questioning, completion of practice questions, and systematic review of past exam papers to monitor improvement. I believe that fostering confidence, curiosity, and engagement is fundamental to encouraging learning, supporting students in achieving their target grades and developing a deep, enduring understanding of the subject.
