Zac Mawby

I am a TEFL-certified English teacher with experience tutoring students of a variety of ages and levels. I am also an avid language learner myself and will use my own experiences to better assist you and offer advice and guidance.
I will get to know you on a personal level, and cater my lessons to your interests, needs and learning style to make my lessons as enjoyable and beneficial as possible. We will also discuss what your targets in English learning are, whether personal or professional, so I can create diverse lesson plans which will help you reach your goals as quickly and easily as possible.
My teaching will incorporate speaking, listening, reading and writing in order to give you a holistic ability in English, with a varied range of resources and activities. These activities will be tailored to your interests to make your lessons as enjoyable as possible while being constructive and helping you towards your goals.
Your progress will be tracked through informal 'assessment' so I can constantly assess which areas require work and cater our lessons together accordingly, but also so I can see which areas you've improved in most and help you see your progress and improvement.
Overall, my lessons will be enjoyable and helpful. While teaching you, I'll use my formal teaching qualification as well as my experiences - both as student and as teacher - to create a diverse array of lessons and activities to help you achieve your target proficiency in the English language.
