With my 5 years teaching experience and still counting, I have the ability to connect my teaching to real life. Not just that, I also make sure to focus on students' interests, give them choices, hook their interest with fun transitions, teach them self-monitoring skills.
I also make sure I keep my class concise, especially because of children with short attention span.
I am also open to trying new methods as the students grow and as times change. With the help of technology advancement and other tools available to use in the classroom, there are many ways to help improve the students' learning experiences.
