Hello!

I am currently a chemistry student studying at University of Bristol. For my A levels, I got A*AA for physics, chemistry and maths respectively.

Chemistry has always been my favourite subject since GCSE, because there's always an explaination to everything.

I have no tutoring experience. However, I have gained leadership and public speaking skills from my volunteering experience as a well-being walk leader and madarin teacher. I also work as a charity shop asisstant from which I practiced my communication skills and bringing a positive atmosphere into the room.

I will plan my lessons and discuss the topic with the student beforehand.

Here is my ideal structure of a lesson if I were the student:

The teacher will introduce the topic by transitioning from GCSE-level knowledge into A-level content. During the lesson, the teacher will ask the student questions before progressing into the next part of the topic. They might ask the student to summarise what they have learnt in a short amount of time to do active recall. Towards the end, we will discuss how to approach exam-styled questions: Highlighting key information, recognising the method and ideas the markscheme may be looking for.

I will also tailor my lesson plan to the student, base on their goals (scoring higher marks, consolidating understanding etc.).

Lessons will be taught through microsoft teams/google meet. The timings could be flexibile but should be kept consistent most of the time.
