My lessons are designed to be clear, engaging, and tailored to each student’s goals and pace. I usually start by understanding what you already know and what you want to achieve, so every session feels relevant rather than generic.

In terms of format, lessons are interactive rather than lecture-based. I explain key ideas in simple terms, then we immediately apply them through examples, questions, or short exercises. I encourage you to ask questions at any point, and I often adjust the lesson in real time depending on how you’re responding—if something isn’t clicking, we’ll approach it from a different angle.

Content-wise, I focus on building strong foundations first, then gradually increasing difficulty. I like to connect concepts to real-life situations or practical uses whenever possible, so the material feels meaningful instead of abstract. We also revisit past topics regularly to reinforce memory and confidence.

As for dynamics, I aim for a relaxed but productive atmosphere. You won’t be rushed or judged for mistakes—they’re a normal and important part of learning. At the same time, I’ll challenge you enough to keep you improving steadily.

In terms of experience, I’ve worked with learners at different levels and understand that everyone learns differently. That’s why flexibility is a big part of my teaching style—I adapt

I offer maths lessons for students from nursery all the way up to secondary school, adapting each session to the child’s age, level, and confidence.

For younger learners (nursery and early primary), lessons are fun, visual, and activity-based. I use games, simple challenges, and real-life examples (like counting objects or basic shapes) to build early number sense. At this stage, the focus is on making maths feel enjoyable and familiar, so children develop confidence from the start.

For primary students, lessons become more structured while still staying engaging. We work on core skills like addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and problem-solving. I break concepts down step by step and use practice questions to build accuracy and speed, while also encouraging students to explain their thinking.

For secondary students, lessons are more focused on understanding and exam preparation. I cover topics such as algebra, geometry, ratios, and statistics, making sure students don’t just memorise methods but actually understand how and why they work. We go through exam-style questions, past papers, and problem-solving techniques to build confidence and improve grades.

Across all levels, my teaching style is patient, supportive, and interactive. I adapt to each student’s pace, regularly check understanding, and revisit topics when needed. I also aim to create a comfortable environment where students feel okay making mistakes and asking questions.

Overall, my goal is not just to help students improve in maths, but to help them feel more confident and capable in the subject.
