My maths lessons are structured, engaging, and adapted to each student’s needs. I always begin by identifying the student’s level, goals, and any difficulties they may have, so we can work efficiently and with confidence.

Lessons usually follow a clear format:

a brief review of key concepts

step-by-step explanations of new topics

guided practice with examples

independent exercises to reinforce understanding

I focus on helping students truly understand maths, not just memorise formulas. I encourage questions, use simple explanations, and break down complex problems into manageable steps. When needed, I use visual methods, real-life examples, and exam-style questions to build both understanding and exam confidence.

I have experience supporting students at different levels and learning styles, including exam preparation, homework support, and strengthening foundations. My goal is to help students feel more confident, organised, and motivated in maths, while making lessons positive and stress-free.
