My lessons are clear, friendly and supportive. I usually begin by checking what the learner already knows, then I explain the topic in simple steps using worked examples. After that, learners practise questions with my guidance before moving on to independent tasks.

I make maths practical by linking it to everyday life, work situations and vocational subjects where possible. In my current role at Coventry College, I work as a lecturer in the Electrical and Electronics Engineering department, where I teach Engineering Mathematics as well as technical subjects involving measurements, formulas, graphs, calculations and problem-solving.

This experience helps me explain maths in a practical and relatable way. My lessons include questioning, discussion, guided practice and regular feedback, so learners can build confidence and understand how maths is used in real study, work and everyday situations.
