Vihaan Salunke

I am an A-level Maths, Further maths, biology and chemistry student who achieved a grade 9 (with 99%) in my Edexcel maths GCSEs as well as grade 9s in both biology and chemistry (AQA). I am very passionate about maths and the sciences and have experience teaching at my music school and teaching some of the lower years and others in my year group at my school. I have experience teaching students of a range of different ages and abilities.
The format of my lessons will consist of a couple of questions at the begin to wake up the mind and refresh previous content followed by covering the topic of the lesson which the student can choose based on what they find the most difficult or what they want to learn next. After covering the content we will do some questions on the topic increasing in difficulty as the student gets more confident before ending on a fun quiz or game related to the topic.
For the 11+ students: the content of my lesson will be focused based on the requirements of the specific schools that my students wish to apply to as well as whatever they struggle with or most interested and if there is time I would be happy to go beyond the requirements to help them go beyond and develop their own interest and curiosity in mathematics ir the sciences.
For the GCSE students: the content of my lessons will focus on the specification and I will teach by breaking down the information in the textbooks and simplifying it. As we approach exam season the focus will shift to specific areas of weakness as well as general exam practice and tips that helped me during my exams.
