My lessons are designed to be supportive, engaging, and tailored to each student’s individual needs and learning style. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching approach depending on whether a student benefits more from step-by-step explanations, visual methods, worked examples, or active questioning.

A typical lesson would begin by identifying the topics the student finds most challenging or wants to improve. I then break down complex concepts into simpler, manageable parts, making sure the student fully understands the foundations before moving on. Once the content is clear, we work through guided examples together, followed by practice questions to apply the knowledge independently and build confidence. I also place strong emphasis on exam technique, helping students understand how to structure answers, avoid common mistakes, and maximise marks.

As a current A-level student who has recently completed GCSEs with strong results, I have a fresh understanding of the exam system and the pressures students face. This allows me to provide practical revision advice and relatable support, not just subject knowledge. I also have experience mentoring younger students in maths, where I developed patience, clear communication, and the ability to explain concepts in multiple ways until they click.

My goal is not only to improve grades, but to help students genuinely understand the subject and feel more confident in their own abilities. I aim to create a comfortable, encouraging environment where students feel able to ask questions without pressure, making learning more enjoyable and effective. Whether a student needs help catching up, strengthening weak areas, or pushing for top grades, I am committed to helping them achieve their goals
