My lessons are friendly, structured and completely tailored to each student's individual needs, goals and learning style. Before we begin, I always take time to understand where you are currently, what you are struggling with and what you want to achieve so every session is purposeful and focused on real progress rather than generic content.
For students working on spoken English, I create a relaxed and encouraging environment where you feel comfortable expressing yourself without fear of making mistakes. I use guided conversation, role play, pronunciation exercises and listening activities to build your confidence and fluency naturally over time.
For students focused on written English, grammar or academic work, I take a step-by-step approach breaking down rules, structures and techniques into clear and manageable pieces. I use examples, practice exercises and real-world writing tasks to reinforce understanding, and I always provide detailed feedback so you know exactly what to improve and how.
For examination preparation, I work through past papers, mark schemes and exam techniques with you, helping you understand what examiners are looking for and how to consistently deliver strong answers under timed conditions.
My teaching style is patient, positive and interactive. I never make students feel embarrassed for not knowing something every question is a good question and every session is a safe space to learn. I draw on my BA (Hons) in English Language and Linguistics and over two years of classroom and one-to-one teaching experience to deliver lessons that are both academically grounded and practically useful.
