About me

My name is Tim Ackroyd. I am an outgoing, well-organised and enthusiastic person, with a good sense of humour as well as being a good communicator with both parents and students alike.
I endeavour to make my teaching interesting and at the same time ensuring that the students are well-prepared for the demands of the examination and testing processes.

My name is Tim Ackroyd. I am an outgoing, well-organised and enthusiastic person, with a good sense of humour as well as being a good communicator with both parents and students alike.
I endeavour to make my teaching interesting and at the same time ensuring that the students are well-prepared for the demands of the examination and testing processes.
I am very approachable and make myself available at most times, priding myself in dealing with all difficulties quickly and with little fuss.
I have taught Science to year 8 and Mathematics up to Year 11 and I still enjoy the process immensely.
I am proficient in using various software packages. Most lessons use OneNote, and Teams manages scheduling.
