Hello, I’m Olivia. I’m a 17 year old student at Haywards Heath college and excelled in my Maths GCSE last year with a grade 9 after realising the extent of my interest in the subject. I figured passing down what I know to younger students in a fun and engaging way to help them achieve everything they’re capable of, is a great way to start my career path while also helping students fulfil their potential. So although I’m just commencing my tutoring journey I would ask you to trust in my abilities to help you or your child excel.
My Personal plan that will adapt as I continue to teach, is written up something like this:
1. A list of all topics and curriculum/spec for each year group or exam board. 2. An educational plan template that I use to write up where we need to focus once we understand topics that need extra attention. 3. Assessments to give me an idea of what level you or your child is at.
My skills beyond teaching: I’m good at communicating with others clearly, keeping them focused and on topic. I work well with younger students due to relatability or in other cases I’m able to keep things light and relaxed which students may gravitate towards.
I look forward to starting this journey, and if I stand out to you at all or seem like someone you may be looking for to tutor you or your child, let me know what you feel that you need and we can start as soon as possible!
