My lessons are conversational and interactive, designed to get you speaking French from the very first session rather than just memorising rules. I typically build lessons around real-life topics and situations such as ordering in a café, job interviews, travel, everyday chit-chat. Essentially you are learning vocabulary and structures you'll actually use.

Depending on your level and goals, we might work through grammar points with practical examples, do role-play exercises to build speaking confidence, practice pronunciation and listening comprehension with authentic French media, or focus on exam or work-related French if that's what you need. I keep lessons flexible and tailored to you: if something isn't clicking, we slow down; if you're breezing through, we push further.

Having grown up bilingual and worked in a professional French-speaking environment at the French Institute, alongside my tutoring experience, I bring both real-world fluency and structured teaching methods to every lesson. My goal is to make each session feel supportive, practical, and genuinely useful for your progress.

My lessons are held online and are primarily conversational, since I believe the best way to make progress is through active, interactive speaking practice rather than sitting and working through grammar exercises alone. I am happy to support you with grammar, reading, and writing too, but to make the most out of our limited time online, I believe the most progress comes from getting you speaking and building real fluency. This approach helps you retain what you learn more naturally, so you leave each lesson feeling more confident using French in real conversations.
