My lessons are energetic yet thorough. I enjoy getting a good and congenial rapport with my students, however I am extremely particualr when it comes to the correct pronunciation of words. As well as having a very wide vocabularly and expert knowledge of the English Language, I have a whole host of subjects that I can discuss with students. These include but are not limited to:Business English, Music (Western Classical), Literature, and Politics. I am also a keen sailor and have also taught mathematics to secondary level.
My first sessions are, of course, exploratory. Here, we can discuss exactly what your needs, as a learner, are. After these are clearly ascertained we can begin to assemble an achievable programme of learning with defined goals agreed.
I have access to a whole host of online resources and these can be tailored towards the aspirations of each individual student. Ideally, my lessons will last one hour in duration. These hourly sessions will be broken up into the study of some grammatical aspect of the language e.g. the changing of tenses, to being able to comprehend a passage of text. We will also apportion some time to conversational English. It is here where the studetn can develop their fluency and progress towards the ideal of becoming a native sounding speaker of the English Language.
