Hi there potential students,its great to meet you here!

My lessons are fun, tailored to your individual needs, along with visual aids where appropriate and at a pace that suits you! I can give you an initial assessment to start.. to show what skills you already have but also any weak areas which need to be addressed.. I will set you practical homework where appropriate, but will also set you a time when you can contact me if you need any help!
I grew up in a household with ESL and well aware of the struggles and pitfalls,and cultural differences,therefore lots of conversation, and using the scaffolding method of teaching,breaking any problems you may have into smaller sections and gradually building them up, I find is definitely the way forward! Each small step when added together makes a large step forward to achieve and reach your goal!

I have 20+ years experience working at a Primary level, with 3 years working as an SEN Tutor for the Local School Authority.Added to this I also have experience working with booster groups for GCSE and young adults who are struggling and need some extra assistance .
Along with a Higher level Teaching Assistant cert , I also hold a 240 hr Tefl Uk cert with a 20 hr practicum which I did with an adult refugee and is equivalent to a level 5 or celta.
