My lessons are interesting and full of variety, at whatever level of English you wish to learn. I am able to teach to all age groups from young children to adults. I engage my students with work relevant to you and your needs. So if you are a young student needing to pass exams, an adult who wants to learn English for travelling and fun, or a professional student needing a higher level of formal or business English, then you will find me an excellent tutor. I am very professional and well organised so we will be working hard at every minute of the lesson.
Before we begin I will find out your reasons for learning English. I like to use real objects, real events, real situations, video clips, news clips and television clips within my lessons so that you gain a realistic insight into how the native English person speaks, how we use formal and informal language, and learn of British culture. I will bespoke your lessons specifically for you.
My lessons are mostly online unless you live near to my home, in which case I will teach in person. Both are slightly different in style:
In an online lesson I will send you some work to do before the lesson as way of an introduction. (This is because the online lesson will be slightly shorter than a face to face lesson.)
In a face to face lesson we will include these introductory exercises within the lesson time.
