I take a clear, structured and confidence building approach to tutoring, designed to help learners understand how the concepts in science and Chemistry work, not just memorise them. My sessions focus on breaking complex ideas into simple, logical steps, using real world examples and clear explanations so students can understand the overall picture as well as the finer details. I specialise in helping students who feel they “missed something” the first time around and support them in rebuilding their confidence, whether they are studying GCSE, A level, or returning to science after a long break. I place a strong emphasis on developing scientific thinking, encouraging students to ask questions, make connections, and recognise patterns in the material.
For adult learners, I offer a supportive and non judgemental environment that moves at the right pace while still being ambitious for the individual. Many adults worry about gaps in knowledge or past experiences with science, so I work carefully to remove pressure and replace it with clarity, reassurance and achievable steps forward. My goal is always the same: to help students feel capable, prepared, and genuinely confident in their understanding. I want every learner to leave each session with a sense of progress and a clear idea of what to do next.
I am an engaged and understanding teacher who builds strong, positive relationships with the students I work with.
