My teaching style is interactive, structured and tailored to each student. I typically begin by asking the student which topics they would like to focus on, before teaching the topic comprehensively while cross-referencing their exam-board specification to ensure we cover exactly what they need to know. I use an online whiteboard, clear explanations and helpful diagrams to make challenging concepts easier to understand, while regularly asking quiz questions throughout the session to check understanding and encourage active recall.

Towards the end of each session, we work through exam-style questions together. This allows students to apply what they have learned, develop a structured approach to answering questions and build confidence with the style of questions they will encounter in their exams.

Sessions are typically around 1 hour, available between 10am and 6pm, Monday to Sunday, and can be tailored around the student’s exam board, helping students apply what they have learned and become more confident with the demands of their exams.

I also use targeted question analysis, active recall and spaced repetition to identify and address knowledge gaps, improve retention and strengthen exam technique. Most importantly, I aim to make lessons enjoyable while helping students see tangible progress in their understanding and confidence.
