As a current undergraduate studying Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology at the University of Cambridge, I bring both in-depth subject knowledge and proven study techniques to every lesson.

Having recently completed A-Levels myself, I understand the challenges students face and the skills required to achieve top grades. My aim is not only to improve exam performance but also to build confidence and develop a genuine understanding of the subject.

Every lesson is carefully planned around the student's goals, whether that's catching up on difficult topics, aiming for the highest grades, or preparing for upcoming exams. I focus on the key concepts and the most commonly assessed areas of the specification, ensuring lessons are both efficient and effective. Students are welcome to request support with specific topics, and I provide a range of high-quality resources, including concise notes, worked examples, exam questions, and revision materials.

A strong emphasis is placed on exam technique and problem-solving. Rather than simply showing the answer, I guide students through my thought process step-by-step, helping them recognise patterns in questions and develop logical approaches that they can apply independently. Regular practice with past paper questions and mark schemes ensures students become familiar with how examiners award marks and what is expected in high-scoring answers.

I have experience tutoring both at an established tuition centre and as a self-employed private tutor, working with students of different abilities and learning styles.
