Initially trained in Power Yoga, I teach dynamic yoga (either slow or more athletic), yin yoga (not dynamic at all), deep relaxation, breath work, meditation.
The beginners classes will introduce you to the basics of yoga, from learning proper way to breathe to feel stronger and more relax, to learn basic postures that will gradually improve how you feel in your body.
You will soon become more body aware and also more capable of regulating your emotions and reactions to the way life is happening...
Once you have 10 to 12 regular classes as a beginer, you will be able to learn poses that require more strength and more flexibility.
A typical class includes a warm up that starts with breathing work and gentle movements designed to activate more blood flow and get your main group muscles activated.
Once you feel your body awaken, you can enter poses that promote more engagement (at the intensity that you can afford, always staying in the zone where breathing is easy that's the key to a safe and effective practice).
Classes also include balancing, stretching and always finish with a relaxation.
Yoga is not a quick fix but showing up regularly to practice in a space that is free from distraction will definitely bring you a peace of mind and a deep sense of connection to your body that very few other experiences provide.
Over the past 12 years, I have accumulated around 4000 classes and worked with over 20000 people in gyms, studios, work places, retreats and private lessons.
