I am a native English speaker, educated to MA level and have excellent communication skills.I have many years of experience as an educator working in a variety of settings interacting with children from differing backgrounds.I am warm and friendly in addition to being calm and non-judgemental. I understand not everybody learns in the same way so my lessons are student centred, focusing on the learners interests and motivation. I specialise in conversation and confidence building with children and young adults, from beginner to advanced levels of ability. I create engaging, fun and informative lessons that are tailored to individual needs and delivered with patience, empathy, and professionalism. I adapt my communication styles to suit audiences from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds and vary my teaching method depending on the students learning style. I provide inclusive language-rich activities - suitable for TEFL online lessons (conversation prompts and role plays). I use a variety of online platforms such as Teams and Zoom and use a variety of resources such as Google Classroom, GoogleDocs/Slides, Google Drive, Jamboard/whiteboards, Grammarly, Chat GPT (lesson prompts/ideas) and YouTube to ensure each lesson is productive and enjoyable. I am able to teach conversational skills and grammar acquisition and each lesson is planned to meet the needs of the individual. I am currently providing conversational practice lessons to two individuals with different abilities and backgrounds and both students have reported an improvement in their ability to communicate in English.
