I am a Classical piano student at a central London conservatoire, offering one-to-one piano lessons for students of all ages and skill levels. I have experience performing in recitals, competitions and with orchestra, as well as grade exams (such as ABRSM, or trinity). My lessons are friendly, flexible, and paced to suit each student’s needs. I focus on building a strong technique, sight-reading and ear-training skills, musical expression, and confidence. I can teach a range of repertoire, from Baroque, Classical and Romantic-style pieces to Jazz standards or pop songs – depending on your individual interests. I offer in-person and online lessons, and am willing to travel.
Before a first lesson with a new student, we will discuss their expectations, what their goals are, how much time they are planning to spend on practicing, and in how much detail they would like me to teach them.
From this, I will create a personalised plan and tailor my approach to suit your needs and wants. I am very flexible and am happy to help a wide range of students achieve their goals. Some students prefer a more serious approach, with regular progress checks and performance practices with multiple pieces in rotation, while other students may prefer a more unstructured, relaxed, and fun approach.
Whether you are a beginner, advanced, or returning to piano after a break, I will support you in your journey to achieve your goals in a student-centred approach. I am passionate about helping students at every stage of progress, and aim to make my lessons clear, engaging and encouraging.
