As a personal trainer, my sessions are designed to focus around longevity of each client and their needs. Programmes are about consistency and progress. I am passionate about making sure clients are mentally in the correct headspace and treating their bodies with the upmost level of respect as exercise and movement is a priviledge.
Every session will include specific muscle activation warmups for injury prevention and link into the main chunk of the training sessions which are specific to each client. I always integrate functional exercises as they align with all fitness goals.
Sessions will always be engaging as they will be altered and adapted to clients progression and include elements and exercise that are enjoyed.
I will always incorporate and encourage guided cool downs that emphasize short mental reflection and physical recovery, thus reducing injury risk.
I will always be there for feedback, questions, offering variations and as a guide!
I experienced 4 years as a division 1 student athlete, balancing elite level sport with an Exercise Science degree with a passion for anatomy and physiology. Recently I have been developing my knowledge in womens health and hormones during exercise. I have years experience in functional training, constantly improving in strength, agility, speed and co-ordination. This has given me my passion and understanding of the human body and biomechanics.
As a current athlete, Injury prevention is also a huge part of my personal routins and training. Programmes should always aim to prevent injury and not be the cause. Building a strong foundation is essential in the longevity I advocate for.
My teaching style is supportive, education and goal driven. I will be there every step of the way whether clients are beginners or striving athletes.
