My lessons are structured but relaxed, with a focus on helping you truly understand Biology rather than memorising facts. We usually begin by identifying what you already know and the areas you want to improve, then I explain topics step by step using clear examples, diagrams, and real-world applications to make concepts easier to understand and remember.

Lessons are interactive and fully tailored to you. I encourage questions throughout and adjust the pace to suit your learning style. We regularly practise exam-style questions together, go through mark schemes in detail, and work on exam technique so you know how to gain marks confidently. For younger students, lessons are engaging and supportive, while for GCSE level and above, the focus is on clarity, application, and accuracy.

I have a strong academic background in Biology and Biochemistry, including a Master’s in Advanced Biological Science, as well as several years of experience working as a teaching assistant and private tutor. I have taught students of different ages, abilities, and backgrounds, and I adapt my teaching approach to meet individual needs.

My aim is for you to leave each lesson feeling more confident, clearer on the topic, and well prepared for your exams, with a solid understanding you can build on independently.
