My lessons are designed to be supportive, interactive, and tailored to each student’s individual learning style and academic goals. I teach in a structured yet friendly way, ensuring students feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence in the subject.

I mainly teach online using clear explanations, diagrams, practice questions, and exam-style techniques to help students fully understand topics rather than simply memorising them. Lessons are adapted depending on the student’s level, whether they are studying KS2, GCSE, A-Level, BTEC, or preparing for SATs and 11+ exams.

A typical lesson usually includes:
• Reviewing previous topics and addressing any difficulties
• Explaining new concepts step-by-step in a simple and engaging way
• Working through examples and exam-style questions together
• Using visual methods, active discussion, and problem-solving approaches
• Providing revision strategies and techniques to improve exam performance

With my background as a PhD researcher in Molecular Biology and experience teaching students across different exam boards including AQA, Edexcel, and OCR, I am able to explain scientific concepts in depth while making them easy to understand. I also have experience teaching both one-to-one and small group sessions, which has helped me develop strong communication and adaptable teaching skills.

I focus not only on improving grades, but also on helping students become independent and confident learners. My aim is to create a positive learning environment where students feel motivated, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
