Shinhee Noh

I am a classically trained pianist and experienced piano tutor currently based in Stepney Green, London. I have over seven years of teaching and performance experience, working with both children and adults at different stages of their musical journey. My background includes conservatoire-style piano training, professional accompaniment work, and private teaching, which allows me to offer lessons that balance strong technique with musical expression and enjoyment.

I studied Classical Piano at Ewha Womans University in Seoul, where I received intensive training in solo performance, chamber music, and accompaniment. Alongside my performance career, I have taught private piano lessons since my undergraduate years, helping students build solid foundations in technique, rhythm, sight-reading, and music theory. My teaching style is patient, structured, and supportive, and I always adapt lessons to each student’s personality, goals, and learning pace.
I have experience teaching young beginners as well as adult learners, including students who are learning for personal enjoyment and those preparing for exams or performances. My aim is not only to improve technical skills but also to help students develop confidence, musical sensitivity, and a genuine love for music.

In addition to teaching, I have worked extensively as a freelance pianist and accompanist for choirs, church services, weddings, and vocal and instrumental performances. This broad performance background helps me guide students in developing musicality and expression beyond simply playing notes.

I am currently offering private piano lessons in and around Stepney Green and nearby areas, with flexible scheduling available.
