Hi.

My name is Shayaan and I am a Year 13 student who has just finished his A-levels in Biology, Chemistry and Maths.

Biology: Grade 8
Physics: Grade 8
English Literature: Grade 8
Further Maths: Grade 8

I aim to tutor struggling GCSE students to help them achieve their target grades or above their targets even. I believe every student is capable of achieving a grade 8 or 9, regardless of the grade they're working at, but it means putting in tremendous effort.

Whilst students have the right intentions and motivations, sometimes they can struggle on how to revise or cannot find clarity on certain topics or struggle with exam technique. This is where I come in and can help a student to identify their weaknesses and build them up to a point that their weakness a strength and no longer affects their scores.

The initial lesson will be free of charge and 30 minutes and will be an introductory lesson where I get to learn about the pupil and diagnose their strengths plus weaknesses and what they hope to accomplish from the tutoring. At the end of each lesson, I aim to set a few practice questions for the student to complete and they can reach out to me during the week about any troubles they might have. This will help them to build and hone their exam technique, which is necessary to achieve those top grades.
