Helping capable students improve grades with structure and strategy

My GCSE Maths tutoring focuses on building confidence, structure, and exam technique, not just repeating methods. Many students struggle in Maths because gaps build up over time or because they are unsure how to approach exam questions, even when they understand the topic. I work with students to close these gaps and develop a clear, step-by-step approach to problem solving.

Lessons are tailored to the student’s level and exam board, and are highly interactive. Students practise questions during lessons, explain their thinking, and learn how to spot and fix mistakes. I teach directly from mark schemes so students understand exactly how marks are awarded and how to maximise their score, particularly on higher-mark questions.

Alongside content, I help students develop effective revision strategies, improve accuracy under time pressure, and build confidence in exams. My aim is to help students become more consistent in Maths and make clear, measurable progress over time.
