About Me

I am a passionate and dedicated teaching assistant with a strong background in providing targeted academic support. My professional experience includes working in a special school setting, where I have helped pupils with a range of special educational needs (SEN) and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. I hold a Level 3 TA qualification and have GCSEs in math and English. I have completed Mental Health First Aid Training as part of my commitment to ongoing professional development. My approach is built on patience, empathy, and a positive, resilient attitude, with a high expectation and belief in every pupil's ability to succeed.

My sessions aim to build strong, positive relationships and foster a positive attitude towards learning, which in turn helps improve attendance and self-esteem. I continuously monitor and record students' progress, providing regular feedback to ensure they are on the right track. I am also skilled in writing action plans, maintaining accurate records, and creating reports to track effective progress.
