The teaching style can be personalised and suited to the needs of each student. However, a standard lesson would be 1 hour, including an introduction to the topic, knowledge review, then the main body of the session is exam-style question based. Alternatively, the lesson could be used for interview preparation for those applying to Oxbridge, as I underwent two Cambridge Natural Sciences interviews, and received an offer from them. I'm a big believer that understanding the wants of the examiners, how each style of question is answered, and what past questions look like is just as important as the content itself.

I've worked in my previous school tutoring GCSE and A-Level maths, physics, chemistry and biology students over a number of years, and for the last year have been privately tutoring A-Level maths students online and in-person, in the run up to their exams. As of now (21/06/2025), all of my A-Level students have improved by at least one full letter grade after a maximum of 6 lessons with me. I personally achieved A*AAAA in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry and the EPQ in 2023. I am now in my 3rd year of my MPhys Theoretical Physics degree, having achieved first class honours in my first two years, meaning I am well prepared and constantly able to provide the best mathematics teaching I can to yourself / your child.

In terms of timings, lessons tend to be after usual school hours, in the early evenings to account for any after school clubs which many students attend (between 5 - 7pm). Weekend sessions are also available, but days and times are general flexible and to be agreed upon with the student.
