In 2021, as part of my year abroad, I taught English online and ran the extracurricular club at Escuela Oficial de Idiomas, which is an adult language school, as an English assistant for five months online. As the sole person in charge of the extracurricular department, I was tasked with the challenge of maintaining six different clubs with original ideas each week, as well as running a magazine for the school which is demonstrative of my ability to multitask and my ability to handle multiple activities with calm and ease. Furthermore, I worked with students of varying ages and students at varying stages of life which further aided my ability to adapt my conversations and discussions to a range of alternative situations.

In 2020 and 2021, as part of my year abroad, I taught at Dante International College as an English assistant for two months in-person and five months online, where I prepared documents to consolidate learning, taught English classes, marked homework and assisted students with grammar and vocabulary in order to improve their quality of English. I worked with students in the elementary, middle and high school. This demonstrates my ability to teach a broad range of ages in an educational environment.

My lessons are built around the student, honing their strengths and building on their weaknesses to provide a well-rounded language learning experience from which they can benefit and take into the future with ease.
