Our long-term format will involve an initial informal chat about who we are, why we're here, what we'd like to do in the future, etc.
I will learn of the student's needs and their strengths they'd like to enhance and/or weaknesses they'd prefer to address.

We will navigate the conceptual understanding of the subject in as much detail as is desired by the student, with attempts at negotiating through problems and understand the solutions together. The most important part of improving any of one's faculties is to KEEP PRACTICING, all the time. There is no sugar coating this. However, their approach may differ. This is where a tutor, like me, can really hone in that understanding. We will work through many examples and discuss where the weak points lie with their understanding of each of them. The key is to understand how the problem is constructed lies in the imagination and knowledge of the subject at hand, which will be covered in detail. My lessons will be rigorous, but appropriate to each individual.

We will keep every lesson lighthearted, with the occasional side tangents, to keep the student engaged and motivated, without being strained or feeling trapped. Their performance should matter to them more than anyone else, and this motivation can only be encouraged in this format.

I demand nothing but what each student desires. If they wish to push their boundaries, then I will help them do so. If they are failing and wish to pass, then I will take every measure to help them in that regard.
