My lessons are structured, personalised and focused on helping each student make meaningful progress. I believe effective Maths tuition should develop genuine understanding, rather than simply teaching students how to follow a set method.

With 4 years of Maths teaching experience, including 2 years of dedicated tutoring experience, I have supported 32+ students through both one-to-one and group sessions. I have strong subject knowledge, including GCSE, iGCSE, A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics.

Each lesson begins by identifying the student’s current understanding and any areas that require attention. I then introduce or revisit key concepts using clear explanations and worked examples before moving towards guided practice. As the student becomes more confident, I encourage them to tackle increasingly challenging questions independently.

Lessons are interactive and student-focused, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions, discuss different approaches and learn from mistakes. I adapt the pace and difficulty according to the student, ensuring lessons remain challenging without becoming overwhelming.

For exam preparation, I incorporate exam-style questions, timed practice, question analysis and exam technique to help students become familiar with the demands of their specific course and develop accuracy under pressure.

My overall aim is to create a supportive but academically focused environment where students can strengthen their mathematical foundations, build confidence and develop the independent problem-solving skills needed to achieve their goals.
