How are you?

My name is Sandrine, and I am a native French speaker currently teaching French in a primary school. I am passionate about language learning and have developed a wide range of teaching experience over the years, which enables me to adapt my approach to suit each learner’s individual needs, level, and learning style.

I have had the pleasure of working with a variety of learners in different settings. I have given private lessons to adults, supported young children in both preschool and primary school environments, and even led engaging French sessions for mums and babies. These diverse experiences have helped me become flexible, creative, and attentive as a teacher.

I am a dynamic, enthusiastic, and friendly person, and I truly enjoy sharing my mother tongue with others. I aim to create a relaxed, supportive, and positive learning atmosphere where students feel comfortable, confident, and motivated. I strongly believe that learning a language should be an enjoyable and engaging experience, not something stressful or intimidating.

In my lessons, I offer a wide variety of interactive and fun activities, such as:

Role plays to practise real-life, everyday conversations
Vocabulary and memory games to reinforce learning
Simulated real-life situations (for example: at a restaurant, travelling, shopping)
Songs, rhymes, and playful activities for younger learners
Story reading followed by discussions to develop comprehension
Fun and accessible grammar and conjugation exercises
Cultural activities, including discovering French food, traditions, and customs

These methods are designed to help students build confidence, improve their speaking and understanding, and develop a genuine enjoyment of the French language.
