Sandra Marisol Barbagallo

I am deeply passionate about teaching the English language, and I greatly enjoy both speaking it and guiding others in using it within real-life contexts. I employ a variety of teaching methodologies, including Communicative Language Teaching (CLT), the Direct Method (or Natural Method), Task-Based Learning (TBLT), Total Physical Response (TPR), the Grammar Method when necessary for beginner students, and the Flipped Classroom approach. I have extensive experience across multiple levels, ranging from kindergarten to adult learners, with a particular focus on English for travel, Business English, English for university students, and especially in communicative English. I have also worked in different public and private schools in San Luis like rural schools and online institutes from the province of Buenos Aires. My last experience has been in a private institute which specializes in teaching standard subjects and English as a second language to neurodivergent students. Furthermore, I have a vast experience as a private teacher for primary, secondary, adults and University students. Also, I have provided online pronunciation lessons to adults. The content is mainly based on the training of the four skills of the language including the areas Grammar and pronunciation. Moreover, in my lessons are included topics based on Interculturality and ESI content adapted to the target group. As regards the use of technology in my lessons, I use zoom and classroom platform. My training as a Teacher of English has been taken in the IFDC (Instituto de Formación Docente Continua) in San Luis, Argentina.
