Sally Samb Sy

Bonjour and welcome!

I’m Sally, a native French speaker based in Leeds, UK, with a Master’s degree in Business Management from France and extensive professional experience working with French-speaking and international clients.

I offer friendly, personalised online French lessons for adults, university students and professionals who want to improve their confidence and communicate more naturally in French.

What can you expect from my lessons?

My approach is practical, interactive and adapted to your individual goals. During our first session, we’ll discuss your current level, interests and what you’d like to achieve.

Each lesson will focus on useful, real-life communication. Depending on your needs, we can work on everyday conversations, pronunciation, vocabulary, listening comprehension and expressing yourself more fluently.

For professionals, I also offer Business French practice, including preparing for job interviews, participating in meetings, writing professional emails, giving presentations and communicating confidently with French-speaking colleagues or clients.

How will our lessons work?

We’ll use guided conversations, role-playing, practical examples and personalised exercises. I’ll provide constructive feedback, explain unfamiliar expressions and help you improve at a comfortable pace.

Having worked in international business and customer relations for many years, I understand the importance of patience, encouragement and clear communication.

My goal is to create a relaxed and supportive learning environment where you feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and progressing with confidence.

Whether you’re learning French for work, travel, university or personal development, I’d be delighted to accompany you on your learning journey.

À bientôt!
