In my role at Smart Tutors, I teach Maths to students up to Year 10. At the start of each lesson, I mark students' homework and go through any corrections with them to make sure they understand their mistakes. I then introduce a new topic, explain the key concepts clearly, and work through the first few questions together. Once students feel confident, I encourage them to complete the remaining questions independently while I provide support whenever they need it. At the end of each lesson, I set homework and explain it thoroughly so students understand what is expected and can continue practising outside of class. My aim is to build students' confidence, strengthen their understanding, and help them become more independent learners.
