Friendly, Supportive History Tutor – KS3 & GCSE

Qualified and experienced History teacher offering engaging, supportive online History tutoring for KS3 and GCSE students.

I have a First Class BA (Hons) in History, PGCE and QTS, and currently teach History across Years 7–11. I have experience with a wide range of abilities and learning needs, including SEND, and I focus on making History clear, accessible and enjoyable.

I can support students with:

GCSE exam preparation and exam technique

Understanding historical concepts and interpretations

Essay and extended-answer skills

Identifying and improving areas of weakness

Revision and preparation for assessments

My June 2026 Year 11 cohort achieved a 75% GCSE pass rate, with 55% achieving grades 5 or above.

Every session is tailored to the individual student, with a focus on helping them understand why rather than simply memorising facts. Whether your child needs a confidence boost, support with a particular topic or help preparing for GCSE exams, I aim to make every lesson positive, structured and rewarding.
