I hold a Bsc and MChem in Physical Chemistry specialising in Microwave Spectroscopy and I am at the end of my PGCE secondary science with QTS. I have worked with students for five years across KS3-5 and alternative provision. I aim to build confidence and enthusiasm for science in as many students as possible. My lessons are discussion based and relatively informal to create a safe environment where mistakes can be made to progress learning with students encouraged to ask as many questions as possible. We will start by compiling a list of areas to work on which will be covered in the tutoring sessions. 1 hour sessions include taught content, practise questions with instant feedback, assistance understanding and improving on feedback from school, improving revision technique and exam technique as well as access to a wide range of study materials. I additionally offer pre-exam prep and work
to complete outside of sessions that will receive feedback free of charge if this is wanted. Upon starting with me I request any practice tests or marked work from school if possible so I can gain an understanding of any problem areas to ensure learning can start efficiently and in a tailored way for each individual student. I offer A-level chemistry, GCSE and KS3 Chemistry, Physics and Biology. I have previously worked with AQA, edexcel, OCR and iGCSE students, other exam boards would be at an extra charge due to the requirements of learning a new specification.
