About me – Ondrej Jahoda

Hello! My name is Ondrej Jahoda, and I am a passionate and experienced tutor from the Czech Republic. I studied English language and literature, as well as history, at the University of Ostrava. I then spent three years teaching in the United Kingdom. During my 10-years career, I had the opportunity to work with students of all ages – from as young as 2 to as old as 99, including those with special educational needs.

I specialize in teaching English, Spanish, and German as a second language, and also history. My lessons are always tailored to the individual needs and goals of each student. Whether you want to improve your conversation skills, prepare for exams, gain confidence in grammar, or deepen your understanding of historical events, I will adapt my approach to suit your learning style and pace.

In my classes, I aim to create a positive and engaging atmosphere where students feel comfortable and motivated. I believe that learning should be both effective and also enjoyable. That’s why I use a wide range of interactive methods, such as real-life dialogues, conversations, games, multimedia resources, and discussions about culture and current events. For history lessons, I bring stories to life with vivid explanations, timelines, and connections to the present.

My goal is to make each lesson interesting, practical, and productive, so that you can achieve your language or history goals quickly and with lasting results. I look forward to helping you on your learning journey!
