Bonjour! I'm Ombelyse, a French teacher who believes that learning a language should feel natural, fun and motivating.
I have several years of experience teaching French as a Foreign Language (FLE), from toddlers and baby groups to children and young learners. I taught in a trilingual centre in Moscow (P'tit Cref – Arbat). There I designed lessons, ran a French club with cooking activities, and organised cultural events such as Week of Taste, Halloween and Christmas. I know how to keep learners engaged through games, songs, stories and real-life situations.
I have also worked in schools as a teaching and education assistant, supporting pupils with homework and lessons. That has taught me to be patient and to adapt to each learner's pace and needs.
I'm a language person at heart. I hold a Master's degree in Slavic Studies (double diploma between Bordeaux Montaigne University and RUDN University in Moscow) and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Foreign Languages (English–Russian). I know from experience what it takes to learn a language, and I can explain French clearly, step by step, in English or Russian if you need it.
Since 2022, I have been teaching online.
