My lessons will are aimed at GCSE students who need help studying chemistry. My lessons will include :
?? taught content clearly and thoroughly
?? practice which could be exam questions, flashcards or a quiz.

My lessons will be organised in this way to ensure the knowledge is fully absorbed as this method is scientifically proven to be the best. I will follow the GCSE specification for chemistry. Depending on the student, I can teach foundational chemistry knowledge or aid a student to understand more advanced ideas and how to answer questions to get a high grade.

Why would I be a good tutor?
I have recently completed my GCSEs and am moving on to study A-level chemistry. I understand the perspective of what students find harder in chemistry through my peers. Throughout the whole of my GCSE course I was predicted and achieving a grade nine in chemistry and would often help my peers to understand harder topics. I provide both passion and knowledge (and some chocolate motivation) for my students.

I have also had work experience in chemistry and forensics outside of school. I went to the university of Kent where I did many experiments etc for a week as if I was a university level chemistry student in year 10. I learned to test for blood in 2 different ways, used an infrared spectrometer and performed many purification experiments in the chemistry lab.

Furthermore, I am also fortunate enough to have used an SEM (scanning electron microscope) when studying the suitability of materials for lunar habitats. I then presented my findings to 200+ people my age and older and a science conference in the Univeristy of Kent under the organisation “Orbyts”.

I hope this showcases that my scientific knowledge goes beyond the classroom making me a capable tutor. Additionally, these experiences helped me to have better communication and public speaking skills which will also come in handy as your chemistry tutor.
