My lessons are structured, engaging, and tailored to the individual needs of each student. I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence in science at their own pace.
I deliver lessons online using Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Classroom, depending on what is most convenient for the student. This allows lessons to be flexible, interactive, and easy to access from home. I also make use of digital resources such as shared notes, worked examples, practice questions, revision materials, and topic summaries to support learning before, during, and after each session.
Each lesson is carefully planned based on the student’s level, exam board, strengths, and areas for improvement. I begin by identifying what the student already understands and where they need support, then I break topics down into simple, clear explanations that are easy to follow. I focus not only on helping students understand the content, but also on teaching them how to apply their knowledge effectively in exams.

For students preparing for GCSE, IGCSE, or A-Level Chemistry/Science, I place strong emphasis on exam technique, helping them understand how to answer questions accurately, use scientific vocabulary correctly, and maximise marks in assessments.
I have over 7 years of teaching experience across both mainstream and SEN settings, so I understand that every learner is different. Some students need fast-paced challenge, while others need patient step-by-step support and confidence building. I adapt my teaching style to suit each student and ensure lessons remain productive, motivating, and enjoyable.
My goal is to help students not only improve their grades, but also become more confident, independent, and capable learners in science.
