In my own experience, learning needs to be engaging and fun! This is why the sessions I offer will focus in on giving clear structure, with core aims to achieve at the end of each session. Before we can start any work, it is important to carry out a preliminary test to now what level we are working at. After having completed this test, we can begin!

The sessions shall aim to integrate the core elements of language learning - grammar. Nailing Spanish grammar is the difference between a high A and an A*. Having kicked our brains into gear, we can start engaging the grammar we have learned! Here we will focus on practicing our reading, writing and speaking. The aim of learning your language is to be able to use it, to interact and to enjoy it.

Having focussed on nailing the hard part, we can then implement it reading about different interesting topics (relevant to your GCSE exam), writing about them and discussing them. These topics shall then follow the interests of the student, making it personal, much more enjoyable, yet, relevant. Through doing this we will truly engage the grammar we have learnt, find out new terms, understand colloquialisms and really get to grips with Spanish.

All my sessions will loosely follow this structure:
60 minute sessions;
5 minutes introduction, outline and questions
15 minutes Grammar
10 minutes Reading (on a different topic each week)
15 minutes Writing (on the reading)
10 minutes Discussion
5 minutes Feedback
