Nicola Rawstorne

Hi, my name is Nicola and I finished my studies in French and TESOL at Nottingham Trent University in July 2023, along with completing the CELTA qualification. I have a passion for languages and love to travel and learn about new cultures! I also have a huge love for music and musical theatre.

As a language learner myself, I enjoy lessons that are fun and engaging as well as productive - this is something I like to include within my lessons. I have recently completed the Cambridge CELTA certification as well as a Joint Honors degree in French and TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) where I have had experience planning lessons for and teaching English to learners from Pre-Intermediate to Upper-Intermediate level.
In I worked for the British Council as an English Language Assistant for multiple primary schools in the French Alps as well as doing some online and in-person English tutoring to adults wanting to improve their English.

Since graduating I have been tutoring English as a foreign language online and would love for you to become a regular student of mine! I would love to help you achieve those language learning goals that you have in mind for the future. I have experience in teaching the four main skills of English (speaking, listening, reading and writing) as well as both grammar and vocabulary for specific situations and purposes. I also have experience in preparing students to take exams in English such as the IELTS.
