Nick Jones

Hi! I’m Nick, a History and French student at King’s College London, currently doing an exchange year at the École normale supérieure de Lyon—one of France’s top grandes écoles. I achieved an A* in A-Level French and a Grade 9 at GCSE, and I’m eager to help you reach the same level of linguistic skill and confidence.

I’ve designed a flexible and engaging course that covers the core grammar of the French language, from pronouns to literary tenses. You'll also learn time-saving vocabulary techniques that make memorisation more efficient. While the course aligns with the GCSE and A-Level syllabuses, it's also perfect for complete beginners—whether you’re learning for school, work, or simply for fun.

Lessons are held online, once a week, with each session lasting 45 minutes. There’s no fixed length to the course—we’ll go entirely at your pace.

Learning French can be challenging and even frustrating at times. But once you’ve built the foundations, you'll gain access to a rich, beautiful culture. Plus, you'll have a great new skill to add to your CV! I’m excited to help you on your journey to proficiency.
