Hi I'm Natalie! Since completing my undergraduate degree in Modern Languages at Cambridge, I have been spending time travelling and am currently living abroad. For 2 years, whilst in sixth form, I worked with a company called Explore Learning, which focused on Maths and English tuition for children aged 4-14. Since then I have tutored online, specialising in French and Spanish, usually for GCSE or A-Level students. I also teach adult learners wanting to improve their language skills for various reasons such as travel or family.

My typical lesson lasts one hour, with a mix of conversation practice, grammar exercises and a longer chunk of reading or listening, finishing with a short writing task. However, lessons can be more focused on either conversation or written work as required. I hope to share my enthusiasm for languages with my students. This means that, although I focus a lot on grammar and exam technique (if applicable), I also try to keep it fun. This could include recommending Spanish TV shows, reading extracts of a book you love in the target language, or using songs to practise listening skills. I am very adaptable and like to tailor the lessons as much as possible to your needs!
