If you want to learn by speaking since day 1, count on me. My lessons are tailored to your needs, style and interests, it is you who is learning, not me. We are going to take advantage of many resources: songs, online images and texts, what you have around you, your experience and not just books.

I studied Hispanic Linguistics and Literature at UNAM, the most prestigious public university in my country (Mexico) and graduated with honors after defending my thesis on language acquisition. Because I love listening to English speaking singers and bands, I felt curious about teaching English, so I enrolled at The Anglo and earned the Teacher Training Course certification. I started teaching university students in 2010. That year I also volunteered with Dutch students that were learning Spanish in Groningen, the Netherlands.

After a little more that a decade and a half of teaching and training, what I hear from my students/clients is that I am patient and skilled. I care about the person behind the monitor, not just about the learning process and I am also into neurocognition, just as an amateur nerd but I have some tips and tricks that can favor and stimulate your brain! I have experience using different platforms and I am always open to what is new; the resources are endless. And just so you know, I come from a family of teachers, so I guess this runs in my blood.
